Abstract:
By superimposing high-frequency micro-amplitude ultrasonic vibration on the traditional grinding, the vibration-assisted grinding technology can reduce the grinding force, lower the grinding temperature, increase the material removal rate and improve the surface quality of the workpiece. It has obvious advantages and broad application prospects in the high-efficiency and high-quality manufacturing of high-end equipment such as aerospace, high-grade machine tools, high-speed trains and energy power. At present, many researches on ultrasonic vibration-assisted grinding technology and equipment have been carried out at home and abroad, and the related achievements have been applied in the processing of key parts of various difficult-to-machine materials. On the basis of summarizing the basic principle, machining advantages, main classification and development trend of ultrasonic vibration-assisted grinding technology, the research achievements of domestic and foreign scholars on ultrasonic vibration-assisted grinding equipment and design methods, material removal mechanism and surface formation mechanism are systematically summarized, and the future development trend and important research issues of ultrasonic vibration-assisted grinding technology are prospected.
